What is SkinShield™ technology?
SkinShield™ is our proprietary in-house antimicrobial blend, built into the fibre during manufacturing rather than sprayed on the surface. In NABL-accredited lab testing (SITRA, AATCC 100 and ISO 13629-2, 24-hour contact), our fabric reduced Staphylococcus aureus by 99.99% and faecal bacteria (Enterococcus faecalis) by 90%, plus the fungi Aspergillus niger by 99.99% and Candida albicans by 90.32%. What are the Face Zone and Body Zone?
Towels with a Face Zone and a Body Zone keep the side you use on your face separate from the side you use on your body, which helps prevent cross-contamination. Use the Face Zone only on your face and the Body Zone only on your body. Together with natural plant fibre and SkinShield™, it is a more hygienic way to dry off.
Is a cotton bath towel better than a natural-fibre towel?
Pure cotton towels can turn stiff after repeated washing and can grow mould if left damp. Our natural plant-fibre blends stay soft, dry quickly and carry SkinShield™, which was lab tested to reduce Staphylococcus aureus by 99.99% and faecal bathroom bacteria by 90%.
How should I care for my bath towels?
Wash separately the first time, then in cold water with a mild detergent on a light cycle. Avoid bleach, harsh detergents and fabric softeners. Hang to dry fully between uses.
